Got any fotos of that singly?

Saturday I surfed away from Sydney, mostly 1 or 2 others paddling for waves, lovely fast dredging shallow peeling bank, crystal clear water and light offshores - a few cover ups, plenty of beatings - bloody brilliant... the next bay/beach to the south looked even better after my surf - loved getting those waves on that perfect morning thinking about the kooks in Sydney paddling over the top of each other and generally ruining each others days.

Fun surf before work on clean remnant of yesterday's big swell. Happy to get the extra hour post DLS. Water still warm but nip in the air made it a bit cold between sets

Some fun, albeit wobbly 2-3ft this morning with the odd freak 3ft+ set. Got some fun waves on the outgoing tide and that wind stayed enough offshore/side shore to not cause too much grief.

Certainly not as good as the Indolicious waves my mates scored yesterday at a solitude beachie. 4ft+ they were calling it and A frame perfection, sharing with only 3 other mates in the water. Unfecking believable for a Sunday of school holidays!!!

Still gorging on the fun waves around. I must be, the shoulders are sore, the neck is stiff, and the missus is a little annoyed. Love it, headin back out tomorrow, and wed before dayshift ( thankyou end of daylight savings! ) hopefully.

Oh, and im totally converted to a single fin in my longboard instead of a 2+1. fuggen awesome

No crowds at Catho Wands?
The Bra was very nice looking on Saturday and Sunday. Actually caught a few on Saturday but it was harder battle yesterday. Had an arvo surf at Bondi as well both days. It was half the size. I must say its a pleasure to surf with a crew at the Bra that actually knows how to surf.

who knows. He's probably trying to get weight off his board and pull it up the face a bit.

the whole thing is badly timed. Probably an awkward takeoff leading in.

Creampuffs this morning. Swell just starting to muscle up. Just me and another bloke trading waves for the 1st hour.

Was all good until 4 pilot boats decided to run up and down the point, with a chopper in tow. Obviously shooting footage for some kind of promo/story. Made a right fcuken mess of things  .

It's coming.

Just scored the closest thing I've ever had to Kirra, without being at Kirra. I won't have to surf another wave of this swell and I'd still be happy.

well, there WAS a little bronzie chasing baitfish around but I doubt the camera could pick it up. only one shortboarder on that left this morning, the fatboys on nine sixes were slogging it out over the rights and as you can see, failing miserably. :D

It's ridiculous how much like Kirra it is (was, after this swell event, the bank might be wrecked?) Don.

Size was a consistent 3-foot with waves as thick as they were high and just throwing hard on the low tide. Every 12-15 or so minutes there would be a 3 or 4 wave 4-5foot set ... It was easily the best surf I've had this year. It felt like 2 hours of being inside a barrel.

Longy. My first pre-work surf. Big and lumpy and shifty; not ideal for someone on a 9'6'' mal who's been out of the water for a while

Wore a few on the head and only caught one. Not ideal but I'll take it.
