In the mess that was last week's Sth swell I stumbled across this wave - if you could call it that. I'd heard about it but had never seen it surfed. Not sure if I'd be game to....

Probably not. All that that guy got in was a half bottom turn and then had to bail before all hell broke loose on that exposed rock :shock:

You wouldn't wanna miss time your exit, that's for sure :shock:

You just might need a few panadols if you come off at the wrong spot.

i think i have seen that spot in a surf vid, and it might only get surfable on the rarest of days?

I originally thought it may be somewhere close to home. Now butts knows it... i think i have surfed it (If its where i think it is) on a smaller cleaner swell breaking a bit better. vvveeeerrryyyy south swell. Goes by the name of fongs favorite hobby?

Nup, Rev I can guarantee you have never surfed this spot. It has only been surfed a handful of times
by a very "select" crew :wink:
Its a death wave, you stuff up on it there is nowhere to go except into the rock shelf. :shock:
