It's a chunk of flesh taken out right on the shin bone, there's nothing there to super glue together.

My mates got a cut there, has had it for about ten years, just keeps opening up. Even when healed and scarred over it opens because scar tissue so thin. Not good mate. Continually keeps him out the water.

Is it like a chunk of muscle taken out beside the shin (tibialis anterior)?
Or is it the skin split open over the bony part?

Not even an actual mountain biking accident. I would suggest going to a doctor. A raging, non surfing Steve is not something we need.

I want to seal it up and surf this week.

Just want to see some signs of healing first.

Fixomull will let it breath and keep it pretty clean.
Then you can put some fresh stuff on and seal over it in a couple days.
