These were the honeycomb quads equal size, 105mmx95mm

So pretty small.

You can still add them to cart on the website so don’t know what the cnut is on about.

I don’t really care if I do or don’t get them, just wanted to try them at a decent price.

Thanks for the fin trial offer.

Let you know if I need anything at some stage.

Traction pads, always looked at them with disdain but considering I just leave my boards in the car all the time I am sick of my wax melting in summer...

Use them? How they go?

I don't care for them, but I have some Beachgrit traction pads here- they seem to work fine.
send us your addy and I'll post one down.

No drama if you don't use it, they are just taking up space here.

I've been thinking about them for a board I leave in the car as well.

Given I never surf without a tee anymore (like I did in my teens) a rash on the chest won't be an issue.

Are they the forward traction ones Steve or just the rear tail pad?

Cheers

Been waiting for this to drop ...

Torren Martyn ... Calypte - a sailing and surfing voyage.

I hate Torren Martyn. Do I need to explain myself?

Hate’s a bit strong for him the person but I kind of hate the obsession with him kind of like when people were obsessed with Craig Anderson and commenting shit on posts of him like ‘So much Steeze! 🔥’ x 1000 comments.

Hate is a very strong word, AJ ... but we're here for you to work through these difficult times.

Okay, seems I'll have to explain

He gets to travel the planet, free surfing and doing all sorts of cool stuff, while I get to surf 2' Maroubra slop with 200 hundred of my best mates. I hate him.

Other than that, I have no problem with him and always enjoy watching his films. Man, he's on a tough wicket.

Thats jealousy, not hate ... and its understandable, but I bet he didn't get to pash his godmother at 14yo.

He seems a pretty low key, genuine bloke, if that helps AJ.

The vessel used in the film is/was owned by his father. After he finished his trip, the couple (and their two tin lids) from Sailing La Vagabond used it for a short while and filmed it for their YouTube channel. The yacht was on the market at this time too. It had heaps of issues, both mechanically and other, but they kept telling their audience how wonderful it was ... which was kind of funny. I remember seeing it for sale prior to the publicity and it was listed for around $60K. After the YouTube publicity they upped the price to $99,000. I'm not sure if it sold or not. It would have been an okay buy for the right price, being sub $50K ... as it needed a shit tonne of work, but it was pretty comfortable, if not a bit of a dog to sail.

EDIT: it has been sold.
