Too big for the banks. Went out about 1pm. You could snare some littlest if you didn’t mind dodging the bigger closing out sets. Maybe dead on high tide.

Just caught the footy. NSW lost the series but, an important spring board for 2024 with all the new players. But, Queensland tough in game 1. Home at a game 2.

Yesterday was okay. Mixed bag. Today looked the same but just snagged the right time tide and crowd wise to get some fun rights with bugger all people on the bank. Called it a day as the left started to get crowded and the right started getting too fat.

So definitely Broken Back Beach. We used to hang there and go skinny dipping in our hippy days.

Finally some small pretty average waves on the NBs.

Fun today. Ordinary yesterday. I got two waves I was happy with yesterday given the conditions. Today I got non stop waves of better quality. On the proper banks. Extra foam helps.

I got some punchy little barrels by myself at a spot that’s usually for mals and sups but all the sand and NE swell direction made it a completely different type of wave.

Went out at Bronte against my better judgement and was suitably rewarded with a frustrating surf.

Took the 6'0" Bonzer mini-merk out today in some really perfect hollow waves.

so, so many dolphins hitting a massive bait ball.

Surfing with dolphins and got the best backside tube I've had for years.

Spent an hour at my local. Totally frustrating.
But nice post of dolphins frollicking near the shore on the way in.

Then 2 hours at The Bluff which was pretty much perfect. Clean, long hollow walls and not overly crowded.

Then coffee.
