It was always going to be limited crowd-wise, due to Covid etc. Thats why I had a quiet chortle to myself when the whole billions of spectators ruining everything was bandied about.

Maybe they're actually building it to keep the yokels in ... makes much more sense that.

Truthfully, I'd be surprised if it actually went ahead. My guess is that the WSL are simply testing the water, if not rather bullishly. They have a history of announcing before pouncing ... probably to help try and garner support. Time will tell.
