Had the best surf I've had in ages today......which isn't really saying much...... but it was good. Was going to go out at the Nth end of the beach I went to but just when I was about to get changed I noticed a huge bait ball out the back. Seagulls and other seabirds going crazy. Either a small whale or a very large dolphin was plowing into it and it looked like there were a few sharks from the way the seagulls were acting. Then a set came through and closed out the beach.
Decided on the south end after that. Never saw another set anywhere near that big.
No sharks, was seals chasing the fish. Lifeguards had a drone up scoping it out, had a chat with them as I got out.
That was a whale, no large dolphin lol.
Fun waves, was fairly solid earlier on, some nice ones.

I thought it looked like a whale. The ball seperated at one stage and half moved right into the line up. What type of fish were they?
Yeah, I had a ball......not a bait ball however.

A bit more crowded than yesterday and got choppy earlier. I got three rides I was happy with though. Even did a few turns on some........and a cutback.......and a nose ride.

Real hit and miss this morning as the tide filled in . Got some good ones and had been waiting ages for my last one only for me to kook style it on take off and fall . Oh well , proceeds to paddle in , talks to the crew watching - mercifully none of them gave it to me for my indiscretion .

Pretty flat today. Not too worried. I'm a bit stiff and sore from too much surfing this week as it is.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

There's only one guy in the club who's older than me.
And coincidentally he made the board I'm now riding.

Your equipment is crucial.
