Mid afternoon. Crap when I went out except for one super crowded bank. Paddled up for some disappointing left peaks for a while but as the tide came in the crowded bank opened up a bit.

Got to say had a couple of uninspired surfs after a couple of pretty great weeks.

Goofed around on the mal again. I've been enjoying it lately. I don't usually bother.

Baby food at Maroochydore a few weeks ago.
Film camera in a water housing.

The sun does interesting things.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Yeah Steve. It was a fun day. The banks there are pretty good and seem to keep on keeping on. Maybe something to do with all the sand pumping they've been doing on and off over the last year or so.
Anything up to shoulder/ head high works great.
Mid week of course. 😃

I helped out with the design of that sand pumping project.

Also helped them figure out how to charge you for it Trev, so get up there and get your money's worth (27c per year per rates notice).

Swell spiked around midday. Lots of long lines coming in. Hard to catch. Managed to catch one through to the inside. I somehow negotiated the ledges and made it down the face before it exploded in a couple of feet of water over the sandbank. The next one walloped me into the bottom but I was happy. Called it a day after that.

Sand pumping filled up the corner for about 1 &1/2 years though.

We've been surfing down in front of the lifeguard tower. Further north seems to be full of SUPs. :(

Yeah, been out there a few times myself of late. Fun small wave banks. Normally I'm just kicking around at Gerry's or the corner if its breaking.

Think it’s hovering between 16-17 this week. Pretty sure August is the coldest month of the year water wise Sydney/Cen Coast area
