I see Lost now have a mid length The Party Crasher. Honestly for years these board companies and HP shapers have looked down their noses at mid lengths. Wankers. And the Lost advertisement basically says they’ve designed a mid length that looks like a short board so not to feel ashamed. Spare me.

All though Lost have no shame as they produced a board called the Weekend Warrior and the “Quiver Killer” Lolz.

Heaps of old stagers in the Central Coast still trying to cut it on too short boards.

I find the standard much higher across all age groups on the coast than Sydney. I’d say most of those old stagers are up on holidays from the big smoke.

Well not hard to have a higher standard than Bondi. Don't know if Nth Narrabeen or Dee Why would agree though. A lot of those guys must have driven their work cars up from Sydney then.

I surfed the last 20 years at DY. Still do. It’s higher across the board up the coast especially the young fellas and girls. Just look at the WSL for starters.

Davey Cathels qualified a few years back.
Think he fell off after one year.

Surfed my middy today out the front of the lookout and had it to myself. Starting to get better backhand on it, but they are just that bit more enjoyable forehand for me.
I reckon there was 50 minimum out up at nth Shelley.

I’m a Sydney boy. It’s just an independent observation.

Vouch coming this week.

Are there more waves per surfer on the Central Coast?

I don’t think so. It’s quite competitive for decent waves. DY to Longy I reckon mid week you can pick up stacks.

Connor O’Leary is a Cronulla lad. But other than him I can’t think of anyone. Big difference to where I live now.

Yeah, packed yesterday too. Had a mal grovel at Blue Bay on Friday and a couple of waves at Nth Shelleys on Saturday. Didn’t bother yesterday or today. Back in Sydney now.

Different Shelley

How many Shelly/Shelley beaches in oz?

There’s a Shelley beach in Kilcunda Vic and one across the bridge in Cat Bay on Phillip island.

Are there any closer together than those two?

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

This. Less crowded = more waves per surfer = repetitions to improve.
