Nah not at all, I just surf average shifty beach breaks a lot of the time which just not suited to the russ short type board..

I think batoes had one but wasn't a big fan. Ding you have a twin torus?

By the looks - Wouldn’t be taking it out in anything remotely solid or overhead. Fat faced walled up peelers up to about chest high looks it’s game. Or small windswells.

Well no its a small wave board, the rounded pin one would be the go

I've got a board based off the ...lost bottom feeder, which has the same outline but different bottom contours.

Really fun in knee to shoulder high beachies with some shape.
Can be surfed up to 4ft with bigger fins.
It's got a short rail line (mine is 5'6") so that has to be taken into consideration with how you surf it. You can throw it around a lot and it's got enough rocker to do reasonable turns.

Cnut of a thing to paddle really short boards around the lineup so I don't surf it on points.
I haven't ridden it for a while, will take it out this weekend.

yes - worst board i've had in years. Firstly, finding fins that worked was a huge issues. The tech was crap. The board just couldn't make sections and felt really dead under foot.

I had a firewire creeper that was 20 times better in average waves. Didn't love timbertek - but it was much better than that lost tech. Lost are focused on socal waves imo.

People rave about Lost Rockets V3. But I'm a little suspicious of Lost boards. Fk there are just too many types for one. Haven't come across a Bottom Feeder but sounds good fun.Been caught out this week with too flat a rocker in decent 3-4ft so your comments ring true.

It's a really good point you make about Socal and boards. Bing Dharmas were massive for a short time. I havent seen one for years now.

CI Average Joe might work as a lively groveller without too blunt a nose or thick tail. Have a peek.

Bing dharmas are your typical socal boards, I dont think the puddle jumper or the v3 rocket are... much better suited to quick directional changes etc

V3 is an all rounder for sure. Puddle jumper in with all those Pier Pony, Biscuits etc..

Flat rockers mostly aren’t suited to east coast Australia waves. Avoid them.

I like flat rockers on a single fin. Then it makes sense. As you can maximise straight line glide speed, which is what singles are all about.

On multifinned boards flatrockers seem counterintuitive. You’re trying to slingshot rail-to-rail laterally off the fins while the flattened rocker wants you to plane straight ahead.

Ok on fatter faces, walled up. But fkn awkward trying to turn hard and tight in steeper sections or adjusting to sudden changes.

Yeh I've been riding a twin and it's pretty flat. Should of taken a medium rocketed board out.

Yep. In point and reef surf. In any walled up peeling wave a single fin is my board of choice.

But have been mostly surfing beachies during the recent run of swell. Therefore on a thruster.

Its a groveller Iggy and other reviews taking into account bottom contours have very different opinion to yours.

Again, anyone who has ridden one as opposed to theory would like your input...

Mighty Sunbird has one loof. I'm sure he can give you some pointers. Looking at it in some vids (admittedly under the feet of pros) it looks like it has a bigger range than you might think. ...lost does that type of board pretty well, I reckon
