Any one with Timbertek experience?
Read through the FireWire forums with mixed success.
I normally ride my 7'7 x 22 x 2.9 PCC single fin when it's crowded and small, but still a little power.
Thinking of getting an 8'6 mal for when it's really small.
I've got a 9'6 but selling it to fund a smaller board and something more suited to beach breaks.
I'm a 77kg surfer.
Would love any insights on the new tech good and bad. And any input on the shape if by chance anyone has ridden a 9'0 flex-flight or 8'6 special T.

Heard of issues with finboxes. Apparently not quite as durable as you'd think.

For what its worth jet, a friend who works at a surfshop that is a Firewire retailer said just get FST as they get far fewer problems than either of the other constructions

Re: Firewire longboards timbertek
I'm pretty sure the fst is the most durable FireWire. Know a few people with a few different constructions and all say the fst is by far the most durable, whereas the Timber Tek and rapid fire are less durable.
I don't think they do longboards in fst though
