Sea sheps will sort out your slide issue & give u heaps of drive, they re pricey but a great fin. I use them in my lil cv1 & they work a treat

They probably will Jam71 but its another $180 on top of the $130 I already spent on Aipas!!

See? This is my issue with quads - too many choices...god i hope the rastas work in mine. I don't want to go back to owning four pairs of fins for all conditions.

I got glass ons with my keel fish for that reason. Total mind fkukk swapping and changing fins huh?.

Yeah i hear all of your fin pain. However, sometimes it's cheaper to buy another set of fins than sell your board & buy a new one. I wasn't overly fussed on my quartet, it had potential but it also had glass on fins!

My drama was my cv2 turned out smaller than I anticipated, I had fins for my weight but I found that the reduced rail line and narrower tail made it harder for me to drive down the line & make sections. The board was plenty loose enough & felt great so I figured that the elevons would solve the problem & work in future boards. For example I ve used my sea sheps in 2 boards now.

Re: the elevons, a guy had a baked potato & reckoned the fins were amazing, Batoes told me about a guy who he met & raved about them so I asked Gary what he thought they would add to the cv2. I can def feel that they add a bit of zip, they add a heap of drive and hold, but because you re going pretty quick (cv2 is naturally fast) they are not stiff. They pretty much get rid of any slide though.
Not sure how they go in slop because I don't ride my cv2 in sloppy conditions.
I reckon they re a great fin which I ll use for years, therefore, I am hoping the $240 will actually prove value for money

I had some aipa twins, sick fins, only sold them because they were probox and I got rid of my probox'd board

All the reviews are 5 star for those fins so money well spent. I agree in any event I am spending the same on a bonzer set up and if the fins and haven't blinked, just the way it is.

Maybe some cheapies from OS

Id stick with it for a bit derailed, it took me a few surfs to get used the tt. Once i figuired it out i really enjoyed the aipas

That's actually a positive sign derailed, I ve often heard folk complaining that they struggle surfing fish on their backhand.

I do on my keel fish. 80% I'm average to ok. When you do put it together it's a thing of beauty though. Love surfing my fish and though I don't think they're easy to surf well, it's worth it when you're in good form and get some half decent waves. They suck at grovelling IMHO, I reckon they go better in fast moving steeper waves.
