If the 6'10" is feeling small wouldn't you want something bigger than that, not smaller?

7.2 is a fair bit of board, go smaller for an all rounder.

That review. I’ve never had a bonzer that “tracks”.
yeah, i'd be going something like 6'8 x 21 x 2 3/4. for head high to DOH. punchy beachbreaks, reefs, points.

longer rail i'd only use for knee to shoulder high or bigger than DOH. otherwise it gets it the way.

@ steve - 6'10 is only feeling smallish in the meat sense. not rail length.

Anyway we’ve narrowed it down to half a dozen great choices so Iggy now just needs to get on the phone and bloody well order something!

Keep an eye on Mitchells FB feed c-he regularly has a board at a fire sale price ($900 -$1100) when he needs cash
I was so tempted by a as new Wolf on it a while back
Drifter in Ulus has several classic examples of his boards with full artwork. They are not for sale.

Yeh, I've also got one of these. This winter I had my best 3/4 foot lined up waves on this. I don't ride it that often but when it comes together it's probably my favourite board. It's a tad too flat for the bigger stuff (despite the pictures) the Howard Mini is better for that. I've hit the trough of a few hollowed waves on the Crossbreed it kind of feels a bit stiff and bouncey on the bottom turn where as the DT mini glides, bites and propels you down the line, effortlessly.

The Crossbreed rides a lot like that clip of Devon Howard on the 6'10 (that's a FDC Heurvo..something a rather). More of thruster feel were the Howard Mini is a flatter and direct ride, closer to a bonzer egg. That's just my take.

Thanks for the feedback. Will stick with the bonzer egg.

@ toots. Will sell a few off first.

Well flattening boards out for trim and speed is all well and good but doesn’t really lend itself well for mixed conditions and the east coast in general.

Volume is all good, but so is rocker and bite. That boards looks too flat, blunt and boaty and not so versatile. If you’ve got a board that’s built for speed then you want sensitivity and knifey control.
