hey huei, meet a bloke in the surf yesterday ridin9 a widow maker setup and we started talkin9 about sin9les and different shapes. I asked him if he has been to solace as he was from up that way and he started talkin about this crazy displacement hull board that you are able to test out and he couldnt 9et over the speed of the thin9. He took it out to johnstons on a small day and had a absolute blast on it. :D

Huei, took the board out today at tee tree, it definately suits a point wave, had a majic time on it, did not spin out once :D The boards sits beautifully on a wave, much prefer that board to any plank I have ever ridden. It is just so fast, makes you surf clean lines, its such a different way of surfin9, like when i first be9an sorta, cant just throu9h your body into a turn but yourve almost 9ot to have a sort of style to 9et the most out of the board. I love it and am definately turned on by this board, its a must for avera9e tea tree or nationals or johnstons, so much fun out there it was awesome.

I know this isnt a 9ood review but the best way I can sum up the board is that it just feels ri9ht. Cant wait to surf some more on it, tommorow even.

Im 9unna try to cutback on it tommorow, sorta 9ot the feelin9 of settin9 the trim, runnin9 some fast lines and movin9 the board around a bit but tommorow will be different, Im ampin9 and I hope the swell keeps up.. Hopefully your wron9 Tim and I will score some 9ood waves

I dont 9et that feelin9 either, no 9ood on beachies but at the points, ohhhh mumma its nicce. Its a different feelin9 yes, but I would prefer that than ridin9 a modern mal, you can point and it 9oes beautiful, makes you draw different lines and I reckon would only help in your surfin9 if you can keep an open mind.

7 pages - and after all that, the only comment I can make is,

"Where's it gonna gestate? In a box :?:

LOL That's one of the things I was thinking of doing with my little 6'2" hull.
Should have taken it for a spin yesterday but scuttled out the door in a hurry.
It will be in the car next time I'm going to Noosa.
Beachbreaks are so much fun atm without the crowds of Noosa though. :P
