i think we can all agree on that :!:

pretty boys write history  and make a $ out it

in any case...now and the future is more exciting

huie with the mini...you said your going the twin keel....i'm kinda still impressed with the "missing links"far forward fin placement...it was a mind opener...cause it felt so good

can u see that working in a twin :?: can u push the fins forward a touch or three

and roy quote "displacement up front planing in the back. Im doing it the other way around lol, well sort of"

thats really interesting, is that because the length your boards or some other design factor :?:

good see u both sharing....us punters do appreciate it 8)

when shapers fight i just run to my morey boogie board

Curious to know the dimensions?

I reckon you might regret posting the pic of your kids board Di99er, and all the mess in the background ( and foreground and surrounds )...then pick on Huie for needing to sweep up...

yeah, I agree with the shaping change but I only do different stuff these days but I know what ya mean...they surf great too, mine is always in the wagon ( when its not on loan  )...so much fun and there is endless options with modifying the shape....dunno if average surfer needs more fin choices but for trialing fins to get placemtn and angles just right, they'd be great... 8)

Anyone still riding these type of single fins? I love this outline http://vouchsurf.com/VOUCH_SURF_-_PRODUCT_EVO_2.html

Are they still primarily point break boards or have they been tweaked a bit to handle beachies?

A mate of mine rides a backyard shaped displacement hull around 7'. Its the full long straight outline, super flat rocker, blade like rails, domed bottom the whole way up, huge flexy Greenough style single fin, pulls in quite a bit at the tail. He loves the thing.

I've watched him surf it quite a bit in small beachbreaks. It seems like it prefers minimalist surfing with good trim lines and flow. No pumping and bullying around at all. Just all low centre of gravity, good positioning on the board for the waves mood at the time, and lots of shoulders for cutbacks.

He really enjoys it but I couldn't pin him down about how he likes it compared to other types of single fins or mid-lengths.
