Hi Huie,
Good point re eps vs poly...didn't even cross my mind as was in a bit of a hurry.
The Firewire was 2lb eps.
I'll have to take a shot of the mini's rails.
Reading dimensions is no substitute for eyeing a board thats for certain.

A man has to say what he thinks: Kayu has zero sense of humour, the intelligence of a blowfly, and his eyes are parked on top of his head rather than at the front.

A sense of humour , Roy , is something I have never lacked ! :) .......as for a man saying what he thinks , well the above post is a fair indication of how you do your thinking......(psst..your flys undone !)

I for one would prefer to make up my own mind about people.
I'm also interested to see any and all surf craft (which at this time and place doesn't require use of a paddle) so thanks for posting the pic of your 8'er Kayu.
Roy I know your forte is the lonnger pintail craft but I do recall you've made mention of shorter boards.
Any simmons'esque creations to show?

heard Dane had a 4'11", I think you could go pretty small, adjustments would have to be made to board but you could definitely go a little under 5ft if you wanted to, but 5'3" feels really good to me....
time will tell I guess, just did 2 x 5' 4" 's.... there's a 5'1" gettin glassed tomorrow.... 8)
