Na Papa Surfboards. I have seen a longboard for sale by this name . The Pro model, a Diamond tail.
Does anyone know them? Any opinions please?

nothing good to say so wont say anything but Fong may have something he might share with you about a channell bottom that had 1 side fin at the base of a channell and the other side fin on top of the channell.....very innovative stuff ....
Re: Na Papa Surfboards....
Plenty jumped on 'em when they first showed up, including distributors, this has dwindled ever since, don't see many of the contest crew riding em anymore, distributor list is also severely shrunken...
I can't tell you why this is, I don't know, all I can say is what I saw; an explosion on to the scene, then an evaporation over a couple of years to where they are now? there has to be a reason(s)...
Plenty of shapers and manufacturers have blurbs similar to that of Na Papa, alas I've experienced my fair share who don't nearly live up to their carefully worded promotions. Saying does not equal doing... Unfortunately...

2 friends that have ridden them and raved about them...until they snapped.
Guess that's a hazard of light high performance longboards though.
One other consideration.... where are they made?
I'm assuming overseas in Asia but would seem they really try to cloak that.
When a board is made OS it should be clearly marked as such so the buyer is fully aware of that. No tiny little stickers or none at all.

I agree fully
Re: Na Papa Surfboards....
It says on their website they are made in China to keep cost down.

Re: Na Papa Surfboards....
The reason there was so many around initially was they were virtually or literally giving them away to select surfers.
Very questionable quality despite appearance, but that isn’t new or unique to imports.

Yep Aussie Pride. Nows the time to buy Australian more than ever.

No, built to a price... think there quality was even too low for this market. Beware shiny objects.Trumpeter wrote:built to the market
Amazing isn’t it, people can have deep pockets for only so long.
Watch this space kids, there could well be another about to fall, but not due to quality. Ramifications could be pretty unsettling for the industry.

Never mind Trumpeter I can happily sell you one of my maximum brand recognition t-shirts for a nominal fee. Behold the "Rip a Quik Bong" t-shirt.
Proudly designed by Moei (that's me for you non-artistic types), locally printed at a secret location in Noosa on (unfortunately) good quality Chinese t-shirts (to keep the price down of course).
Bugger photo upload didn't work.
