dunno if its old news but i got email today at work and it said that botha is officaly a member with bunting and dixon,
he is riding boards shaped by Yamo Guerra and also with makapuu, hopefully he has put his drug addiction behind him and can maybs win another title, defintaly got the balls, im keen on some more waimea shorey action

I used to love bodyboarding back in high school (on my Manta Wingnut if I remember correctly!) but also worshipped guys like Andre Botha who used to charge.
I surf now and obviously I dont know sh*t from shoe polish in regards to the bodyboarding industry but what is this about Andre having a drug addiction?????

yeah, I read Andre's interview in Movement last year and he was talking all about flipping out in Vegas and by the time he arrived back in South Africa his parents didn't recognise him at the airport because he was all strung out and emaciated. Kind of ironic I think after his pseudo-comedy sketch on Vegas gambling and alcoholism in that No Friends DVD, I think it was "Guilty By Association". Life imitates art yet again.
