Nop - Did an invert and when i hit the wash my board nosedived and my neck hit the sand which would of been only ankle deep. Dont surf South curly anymore, unless the pool reef is working or the 'scwedge' is breaking.
Have had a couple of reef cuts, but nothing serious.
gotta love brownwater on its good day.
Wouldnt of picked it - Been out there once and will never go out again. There were some ok waves, in between paddling as hard as you could non stop and dodging 4 wave cleanup sets :? :? :?

Manchons - Appealing? Not really. If you pick the right waves theres a makeable barrel section - would post some pics of some guys in some but i cant find the camera

dee why is awesome, i think when its good everyone should go to dee why for a surf. remember to respect the locals though... give BB a polite nod or perhaps a wave as you drop in on the shoulder and push foam into his barrel!!
