Can't find footage or photos of it - it was on the news the other night. Did anyone see it ? He launched into an air, then grabbed his board prone style and landed on his guts in the whitewater. Did this seem weird to any other lids out there ? footboarders landing prone ?

well without straps it would be pretty damn hard to land in a lot of whitewash on a stick id imagine... note though i couldnt be bothered to read the article, but i do agree with you. almost as bad as bailing from ya board!
