Was that not the greatest sitting at my desk eating laksa sporting experience of my life!!!
Kelly had em all combo'd and AI comes back with two of the greatest waves of the whole event!!!
Still - do you think the gave him extra points for the big claim at the end???

Do you mean Trent Munro? Looks like he just missed out according to the rankings on the ASP site as he's finished at #28. Apparently it's the top 27 of the WCT, along with the top 15 of the WQS & a couple of wildcards make up next year's top 44? And Luke Munro came in at #18 on the QS so no joy for him either.

i dont get every one dissing andy. The guy is just a great competitor. surfs amazing and just hates losing. slater is the only surfer in the world to rival him. maybe parko and fanning need to get a bit more double goose about them so they can take it to them

whats so good about those two surfers, what can they do that hundreds of professionals cant?

i think the judging is probably unknowingly biased

if kelly slater and like a local ripper performed the same, i reckon the judges would give slater a slightly higher score becuz of his reputation

ok well i kinda meant like comparing against like fanning, burrows etc...and surfing in conditions like pipeline now, where scores were based on the best barrells.

Out of all those really good surfers, andy wins again. I bet if you hid their identity while they surfed they would'nt be AS dominant as they are.

but yehh just a thought
