being a moderator has nothing to do with being a good surfer. you'll do great.

thanks guys,
still i tend to agree with don and stuey, that putting rules on surfers is weird as our playing feild doesnt have boundaries.
and don said organising surfers is like herding cats.

if you've got the time you'll have no problems... just don't get to offended if ppl make snide comments about lids ;) But if us shortboarders start making really offensive comments, e.g. 'bodyboarders kill kittens', then maybe its time to put a beatdown on someone's arse...

im clear too now...cos i had a cat a few years back, even tho we know how it died (it had to be put down) im now thinking that the vet who told us he needed to be put down must have been a bodyboarder!

the conspirousy is bigger than you think, have you ever noticed that tennis players dont get allong with squash players? well it all started out with the bodyboarders needing extra supplies of stitches for reef cuts, and with dupont taking over the market with thier nylon, some bodyboarders felt upset about how nylon stopped the legality of hemp products so they didnt want anything to do with nylon...
so they started getting cats from the back alleys around cronulla and using cat gut for the disolving stitches, but it didnt stop there, the boogers decided one day to play tennis, but the tennis rackets under the house needed new strings.
so they took them to be strung up, but they didnt want nylon... so they used the old cat gut and the tennis players noticed this was a far superior product to nylon and used that instead...
but the squash players are all fancy and like the new shiny nylon string, and from then on it was tennis players vs squash players.
tom morey the inventor of the bodyboard once said that if everyone in the world took up surfing or bodyboarding then there wouldnt be any wars.. how ever he didnt realise that the smooth slick that is used on boogers is called surlyn, a product made by dupont...
and guess who makes the hydrogen for the hydrogen bomb?

thats right, dupont.
its a big conspirousy

it doesnt stop there either, its now golfers vs cricketers, because some boogers didnt want to play golf with surlyn golf balls so they went out onto woollaware golf course and had a round of golf with cricket balls.
the greeny golfers thought this was a good idea and have now been trying out ways to make golf balls with stitched leather.
but this got the cricketers all mad as we all know the supply of leather is tied up in the aussie mafia and the demand for leather is too strong to support another leather product.
