modern application ???? well I think it can be played with but currently I am happy to do them as a replica of what the great MP did back in the day...and will only do the true MP ones as replicas, wont be thruster versions or anything far from authentic...

maybe, but to be fair , you were gunna grab it but couldn't or didn't mate....was there for the taking.....anyway, think it woulda been too short for your liking......bit of a transition from the 6'1" drivey QF to a lively slippery little 5'5" mate...another time maybe....

Just an update, almost two years since mark shaped me one of my all time favourite boards "the dumpling" I recently had the pleasure of surfing it in the maldives. Lohis was a very fast wave, many guys struggling with the initial down the line speed needed to make the wave. In the waist to head high surf the board just excelled. Paddled super early, off like a rocket and turns in the pocket when the wave slowed down. I had a blast.
I'm not sure if you remember mark but I had the board glassed heavily as I wanted it to last, and untill this trip it barely had a deck compression, then some idiot ditched his board right in front of me, I got fin chopped on the shins, and he put a ding in my rail. Examining the boards after the collision I had a 5cm rail ding, but his centre fin had been completely ripped out of his board, fin plugs and all, about a 15cm crater. So send a thanks to your glasser as the board is almost bombproof and still performs!

thats good to hear mate, I do remember that board as it was a reasonably early Dumpling...the shape has evolved a little since then but am super stoked to hear you have been enjoying yours for 2 years, and stoked to hear its held up well too....thanks for the feedback as well......
