Yeah, I know Huie. That's what I meant by the bits in bold

Both made by Huie, who has shaped a few now and has big wraps on it from a shaper's perspective. He'd be the one to ask for details.

Bit hard to comment on the durability, given that it's not normal construction so it's not a straight comparison.
huie wrote:and it is a good idea for the surfer to acrue as much info about a board he like as possible
its up to you guys get responsible to get yrself a board made for you its your mony
cheers huie
and what if your shaper is a crafty old bugger who won't tell you what's inside? :D
I'm happy as long as it works, and they do.

I'm so keen to shape my own blank.

The bottom shape scares me a little though. Getting a single into a double concave hast to be hard, doesn't it?

I remember back when I was a grom, I did ding repairs out of a mates shaping bay. Lost count of the guys who got pissed off at me because when I'd do a fin repair job, I'd unknowingly sand all the bottom shape out of their board.

i have been sticking the pink in the bag since midget sent me the first one
the combination of polypropolene and non wovens are superior to the old tired glassing
these are great times for the surfer to let go of the old and embrace the new tech
which includes the pink

same old f##ken bullshit as always

Your images may only be up to 800 pixels high. what a wank

i give up trying to help on here see ya :(

Hi Huie - Do you use photoshop to reduce your pics?

I use it, I find it dead easy, and the resulting pics are good enough for me.

Go to the image size, make it 72 dpi and 800 pixels wide or high max, then "Save for web.'

Perservere with it, but hey, if the other fellas don't appreciate, send um' to me...I'm all ears regarding the glassing you speak of. :D

Thanks Josh. Huie's stuff is great and I wouldn't like to lose him. There's any number of guys on here who appreciate what he's got to contribute.
There's also other options for reducing the size. Even Microsoft has a little resizing program which takes about two minutes to download and set up.
Then you just right mouse click and select the option "Resize pics"

I saw the pink blank that yorky got when I placed my order, I got 2 reds and a yellow but the pink was just beautiful. So light, and trying not to sound wanky it was super light too, I was blown away when I held it in my hands. Its definately something that Im aiming to use once my glassing gets good enough.
no, Im not a surfer, Im just a garbage man".
