I think that drop down refers to extra labour cost for gloss coat / polish around the various fin setups.

I've been on my Octafish the last 2 days in OH Point surf. Holy sheeit, it felt fcuking amazing.
Generating so much speed and then just zipping the entire top of the wave off .....like a long smooth zipper opening, you could literally feel the water molecules being separated by the fin, keels and concaves.

I walked into Byrnes shop in Newcastle a few years ago with the intention of ordering a custom, but the ordering process put me off and I changed my mind.
Basically a few rudimentary questions asked by a guy in the retail shop, written on a form with a drawing of a board. You tell them style of board e.g. gun, fish etc. and the dims you want. No real discussion entered into.
Felt very disconnected.

How's this whole CI Bonzer thing ay? Interesting

Does the Octofish work in 2 foot weak peelers? Or does it need a bit of juice?

Mine didn't work that well fullstop.

My MLV is brilliant in the conditions you describe. The bumblebee also worked.

My Mini Merk is just a phenomenal board. Had a longish righthander this morning had a heap of speed up and put it all into a big carve/cuttie on the end section. It just felt so right.

Definitely not an everyday board, don’t want it in junky stuff but in good conditions, it flys.
