Every now and again I think I should've gone with a bonzer instead of my big red 6'8 PCC single. A round tail Russ short really would be nice. Even a 6'6 maybe.

It's actually a Russ Short with the five fin set up. Only recently picked it up, and so far haven't really had the chance to put it through its paces. nothing with enough size and wall to get it wound up to do its thing.

it's very steady and predictable and has a tonne of drive. it feels familiar like there's nothing new to get my head around, given that I've had a bonzer before and ride singles fairly often.

Think the best way I can describe it so far is it simply feels like a single fin, but has some extra projection and squirt rail to rail, and more bite under the lip as you push through a carve.

I'll report back once I get it in the five foot plus region. Somewhere like sandon or any wave at that size with enough wall to it.

mine was a five - i regret selling it. I'd only use a few times a year, but always loved the speed.

Anyone interested in a Mini Merk (5 fin) - 6'4 x 20 1/4 x 2 1/2 in immaculate condition, sea foam resin tint. Beautiful board but I just never surf it.

I would be if I didn't already have one in smaller dims.

So, we can expect a flood of them on gumtree? Hopefully a mblv and/or chunky 3 fin egg, blue tint for both please, and preferably priced for quick sale. Pick up close to my place would seal the deal

Realistically I don't surf enough to warrant one mate, and I don't have spare cash right now. Cheers for the offer though.

i don't get their pricing structure. starts at $980. Then if you add fins, which is the whole point - the price goes up...
