^^^What's the significance or meaning of that pattern on the deck Jet? Pato give you an explanation for that? One thing I've learnt with Stuart is to give him direct instructions on the sprays or art. Whenever I've said 'just put anything on it' he's practiced his avante-garde artwork on my new board. They always go unreal mind you, but the art hasn't always kept pace with the shapes.

Mate it's Japanese for spirit. As in the ocean feeds my spirit, not the bundy kind.
I was an exchange student when i was 15 and studied Japanese in high school for six years...
I asked Stu if i could do it myself but he wouldn't have a bar of it. It was pretty frustrating because i was pretty handy at Japanese calligraphy when I was younger. I wanted it to have the free hand look, as apposed to the artwork that was done on my Miller Waterskate when I first started surfing.
Next time i'm going to insist i do it myself or leave it blank and just use posca pens when i get home.

Haven't surfed it yet. I can't decide whether to go a tail pad or not. I hate paying $50 for a piece of rubber with glue on it. I'm also a bit of a bitch when it comes to aesthetics so i haven't found one i like the look of.
