Hey Deev,

I warned you about having children...man, its all over!

It'll be with mixed feelings that I send you this one, knowing that it might be the last for a while. I've enjoyed your custom and the stoke you've shared. I hope the boards provide you with many a happy session. May a million ledgy barrells infest your...local.

The 6'10 is coming from a really good bit of hands-on in the sense that it's similar to what I've been riding this last week. After a long dead lull the surfcoast is living up to the name again, and I've had to discipline myself by only surfing every second day, so that the orders still get done!

Its not looking like letting up this week either so don't expect that board any day soon!

Not sure if this customer is a poster, so I'll take the liberty.
This one is a full down-the-line drive number. Wide all the way, 16 in. nose...

I think I'd be happy with one of these myself...Hey, I only have 15 boards, R&D ya know?

New Custom JD in production.

So happy with the product Guys. Ordered my 2nd JD shapes weapon last week. Had a bit of dud couple of weeks up at Scotts my usual 5'10" Firewire Quad, 6'0" Sunova Nitro and JD Sharp shooter (see website) just didnt seem to have the width in the Nose to give them the speed on the long, but small and slow peeling break at Scotts. Had a 6'3" Outerisland (Mitchell Rae) Fish, which made the sections, but after riding my FW and JD, this board seemed really heavy and unresposive. Was luckey enough to get a ride on a Darcy Prototype, a 5'11", tad long, but really ripped.

Anyway contacted Josh and No2 JDshape is now in production. Josh is keeping it pretty simple, rounded tail, low rocker 5'8" Thruster.

Will post how it goes.

Maybe Josh will post some "work in progress" pics. Hint Hint

Hey Dolf,

Yes, the Flying Saucer is well on the way...I pulled it out of the vac bag today and added the tailblock.

Its reminding me of those little things Buttons used to spin 360's on at Ala Moana. (If I have to explain, you're not old enough...)

Pictures? Maybe, maybe...

How thick is that little smoker? Are you going to do it as a quad? That planshape as a quad would work. Short wide and thickish, would be lots of fun.

Hey Bohdi,

Dolf' weighs just 60kg, so the Flying Saucer does'nt need to be very thick...at 19 3/4 there's loads of float in the width. So I made it 2 1/4.

DV8's Bazooka 6'10 is in the box for freight tommorow...He'll have fun spreading all the packaging around in the foyer of his workplace!

And I finally fixed a ding on my ol' fav, cleaned it up for pride of place in the quiv again:-

"El Mysterioso" is...umm...a bit different!

Come on Josh, you cant put a pic like that up and not give us the low down on that hull or was it just a regular board you used to ride when you had a bit of weight on?

Fair dinkum Josh you do a beautiful shape, and the artwork is just the icing.

I'll check out your website soon enough, see if I can afford something from you.

Great to see such beautiful work. More pics always welcome
