Check out this link

http://www.indosurf.com.au/

Buy the book - It gives the Bali "first timer" everything you need to know - when you get there - ring "Soody" +628179704203 - Best surf guide in Bali - he will take you wherever the surf is best.

Get a cheap flight and accommodation for 3 or 4 nights around the Kuta-Tuban area and then you could go to Lombok or Lombongan cheaply or pick up cheap, cheap accom anywhere in Bali.

Enjoy

1. April -October - Bukit October -April - look on the front page of realsurf

2. Crowds appauling in school holidays between May-October - less crowded in February - forget the Bukit anytime, unless you are a 10ft Padang Padang or Ulu dude - Bingin last July had 35-50 out anywhere from 3-6ft -appauling Dreamland Japanese everywhere Ulu 50 out before 8am when 4ft

3. You dont need much money unless you go Banchonging - take as much as you can.

try bali.com -go to travel forum and check out deals from non-surfer types
