Not saying either way is wrong, but if the former then have a read about 'anterior pelvic tilt', which could be related to all of your symptoms.

Also, dont sleep on your stomach. (um, if you do)
Anterior pelvic tilt, or as the physio called it "donald duck arse", is from weak glutes and abs and strong quads and tight lower back. Once you work it out and tilt your pelvis back you find half your beer gut disappears. Plenty of exercises online to try and counter act it.

Make some space in front of your computer so you can still see the screen, turn up the sound and join in, goes for 12 minutes. Do it every day if possible, even after pain goes away. As Eric says at the start it'll fix your back up.

Looks good MM. I think sometimes these guys are a bit too forceful esp. if you are in acute pain but this one looks the goods. My step dad is an amazing osteo, has a stretch format that is more subtle for when it is super sore. I will try and get it up here- it is almost a cheat when you really need to keep doing stuff

That eric goodman routine can resolve lower back pain in the short term, like just a couple of days, if it is just caused by tight muscles which a lot of lower back pain is. But what it is really designed for is to make changes to the body in the long term and teach good posture and movement
