Great Rift Valley.

Upper Tanzania?
Mid awash valley.

Have to be awesome going back to the cradle of human evolution.

Anyone been or know anyone who has?

All the diseases in Africa have put me off....but once the kids get older and it no longer matters as much I'd love to spend some time there.

Geez Ringy, you took time out of your busy schedule to make that sparkling contribution.
Very touching.

My partner is actually from a town in Kenya just north of there, Nakuru...but she used to run a tourism business and guide treks through many parts of Tanzania...if you want some info she knows everything you would need to know

she thoroughly recommends going...and wants me to live with her on Zanzibar...says its amazing

I hear there's good surf in Tanzania. Zanzibar has a really interesting history. And the Great Rift Valley is a hop, step and jump away.

When are we going?

About 10 years ago I got offered a really good job in Zanzibar, but it was paying crazy money and in US dollars so I thought it was a scammer email and never replied.
Colleague took the job.

Taiwan also has a Rift Valley. No elephants or lions or wildebeest or that sort of a stuff though.

welcome back god.
thanks Steve...its hard to imagine this omnipresent...omnipotent...omniscient...am sure I have missed one...suffering self-esteem and insecurity issues...you probably assumed they were all just human weaknesses...but well...you had to get them from somewhere!

Sincerely appreciate the message steve

And you should go at least once in your lifestime...its really amazing. Believe it or not its the first trip I have done in 8 years where I DIDNT get sick

Nice to see that you're still around almighty god.
Appreciate you checking in.
Things here seem to be going ok.
Croissy may go off the deep end and blow himself up but, otherwise, for the most part, we're hanging in there.
Take it easy god.
