Fiji surf trip

Post by JSB » Wed Feb 19, 2014 1:30 pm

Ok everyone, I'm going to fiji in dec - jan for two weeks. This is apparently not it in the best swell window(but meant to be the best for wind conditions), has anyone else been around this time and scored waves or should I expect to be disappointed.
Also are the all the waves accessible now or still for certain camps and how much does it cost for boat transfers out to surf spots.

All depends on if there's a cyclone/low pressure system lurking, which around Dec-Jan is not out of the question that's for sure.

My recollection was a few blokes on here have gone around that time in the recent past and got some good waves. Search on realsurf for their posts and I'm sure you'll find some more information/pics etc.

By govt. decree, in 2010 I think, the surf is for anyone and everyone. Amen.
