physio says it's buggered knee from an old tear.

For all the smashed bits of my body, not once do I remember doing my knee.

Maybe the physio is wrong.

What is exactly the problem anyway? The bump? Bursa?

it hurts and clicks, and I'm put off jumping down 10 steps at a time. Seems better now, she gave me an exercise, one way is standing on one leg grabbing the other foot. I like that.

She's waved me goodbye with some exercises and admonition to go slow, and mentioned that the fluid is less than ideal probably because I'm 58.

Thanks Daryl for sharing your exercise idea. I will try this because it is looking effective exercise. I am sure that it will work.

Haha I love it when they mention fluid. Old crook knees have nothing to do with fluid.
