Underwater Cam help

Post by Bear » Fri Sep 09, 2005 6:40 pm

Hey guys,
I recently bought an underwater camera and i took it out last weekend and itwas the best time of my life!
However I noiticed I am getting a lot water beading on the glass and thus making it look a bit crap.
Anyone know how to stop the water beading over the lense? Any home remedies or advice?
Cheers

RainX
Its the stuff you put on your windscreen that makes the rain run right off
Put it on everytime before you go out
A couple of times the lense started fogging up inside so i used it on the inside too.
I tried Kmart but couldn't seem to find it, but i found it at autobarn.

For the inside place one of those silicon things you get in drug jars inside the case, this will soke up any condensation on the inside.

clean your lens with vaseline. just make sure you get rid of the smears.

another remedie- hibiscus leaves. crush em and rub em on your glass. this works. do it all the time with my goggles.

less effort and probably not nearly as effective as these other elaborate methods, but spit on the lens and rub it around, then wash it off just before you go out, and it helps.
