waves at the point at Collaroy

Post by mickwad » Mon Jul 25, 2005 12:36 pm

Does anyone know what condiitons (swell size and direction; wind speed and direction; tide) that gives a wave at the point at Collaroy? I'm a 45 year old novice and a few tijmes I've seen a nice gentle right hander there but 9 times out of 10 it is dead flat.
thanks

www.wannasurf.com

Pretty easy to figure it out. Big swell from south accompanied with similar winds.

And when it's half-decent (ie. when everywhere else is too big to ride) the place is a madhouse and as crowded as The Pass.

Everywhere has to be like 12 - 15 foot before Collaroy is rideable LOL
