Yep, when all I did was street it was 60mm 90a powell cross bones. My current board has 101a 56mm minilogo things which seem ok. Fine on ramps anyway. Bit clattery for street
Your Welsh concrete is rubbish mate. You should get on our good Aussie concrete, carmon moite!

90a about right for what she’s after. And size also sounds about right. Though still recommend calling basement skate. Them dudes know their stuff.

My new toy.
Smooth, rolls very well. Still breaking in the wheels and figuring out the bushing looseness I can get away with.

He'd probably recognise it as a longboard, fit for my purposes.
But if he did, he'd only have to tell me once for me to understand his argument.

I'm too old to be dropping into halfpipes or learning how to kickflip.
Even though with croissant gone I'm probably the youngest here.

Did you ever get one?
It sorts out any front leg technique issues pretty quickly.

The spacers determine this rather than tension, right? Noting that you didn't actually name the method.

Post em up. You knows the rules.

Cranked I'm just talking about how hard you tighten down on the bushings. I had them too tight to start with.

It is the four wheel bearings we're talking about? Varying tension on the nuts should not affect the ease of rotation of the wheels. The nuts only need to be tight enough so they don't fall off.

Hmmmm. I googled it. There are lot about tightening wheel nuts and ease of rotation but:

"A well put together skateboard that has SPACERS inside the wheels, and speedrings on the hanger face and axle - CAN be tightened all the way without slowing down your roll. This is especially true for wheels with hard plastic cores that are more...”
