last friday I was heading to a friends party down at Jubilee oval in Glebe, so for memories sake I cruised around the back streets of Annandale, where we used to downhill skate and underage drink all the time. Some of the hills we used to bomb look absolutely terrifying now.

Still, safer than MTBing I suppose ;)

I remember some wheelchair xylophonist getting all macho about how he liked to smash absolutely heaps of Weetbix before a hard day's roofing

Reading this makes me want to get my longboard skateboard out for a ride again. It's been ages. There's no obvious places to ride near me unfortunately

Olympic Park says hello. The entire precinct, the roads are laid with primo hot mix, a mix of flat and gentle slopes at most, shit it’s even lit up at night. It’s what, 15 mins drive for you? Or north rocks snake run at Farnell Ave, Carlingford that’s what 15 or so mins?

Yeah I was thinking about Olympic Park. When my boys were little I'd take there on their bikes and ride alongside on the longboard. It's definitely a good spot for cruising and carving

I feel bad now for gifting a Chardy drinker a case of Cooper's.
