I'm hoping you guys here can help me out. I've always bought second hand boards in the past. Recently bought a brand spanking new board...DHD Black Diamond ...with fins and bag was nearly $1100. I've ridden it 4 times...its mint....but I've got no idea how much to ask for it. any tips ?

I reckon $650 -$700 is fair.

If you have use for the fins and bag for your next board or one of your other boards, I think you'll get better return for the board on its own.
Maybe $500.

Unfortunately they lose a fair bit just walking them out of the shop.

All of it, for spending $1100 on a DHD.

haha. i went looking for a Lost Quiver Killer. got talked into the DHD by salesman who said 12 weeks wait or more for the LOst board. got home aand realised I'd crossed the DHD off my list the week before after some bad reviews. bit gutted.

Don’t ever get rid of a board you will only regret it later.

So if you've ridden it 4 times and it's mint, why are the bad reviews turning you off?

What are the dims on it mate?

Last time I bought a new board and then tried to sell it I had a guy keep ringing up asking If I would just sell the fins. Just repeatedly knocked him back. Ended up just giving up on selling the board. Tried again a year later and sold it for $100 more than I wanted the first time and without the fins.

What a story beans!

I hate buying new boards. It's a fcuking ripoff.

It's mint condition . It's probably a good board. I just need to stick to long/ mids. But fit enough for 6'6 even at 45 litres. I'll get more waves on a 7'4 or similar
