Visualisation of WSL Rankings for the last 27 years

I've been doing a bit of data visualisation stuff for fun recently, and made this.
Some of you might find this interesting.
Filter by country or surfer, or click on a line to see the individual career.
Hover over dots or lines to see more information.
USA & Hawaii are listed separately by convention.
This won't be readable on a phone.
Interesting discoveries:
-France only started appearing after 2004
-Change over time for Australia, and for Brazil
-Very similar drop off for many top ranking surfers - slow decline, slight recovery, big drop, and exit
-Glyndgon Ringrose return after 17 years
-The zig-zag of multiple surfers like Luke Egan, Owen Wright, Peterson Rosa (random patterns, or is therer a reason?)
