I was there in the 90s and found the locals laid back in the surf to the point of laziness. I snaked the fcuck out of them and nobody cared. They probably enjoyed it when I almost drowned tho

Biarritz* is a softcock wave. My already low estimation of the The Mighty Sunbird's surfing ability has slumped down a further notch or two
