Far out, Davros. That's some heavy shite. Hope it works out well.
Just found out via Facebook that my mate in Laos has been in hospital in Bangkok. He started getting bad headaches...blood clot on the brain which apparently dissolved by itself.

My mate had hip labral repair done last year and recommends it. He was hating thevrecovery time, probably 4-5mths before he felt good surfing a shorty but now very happy.

Ta BP, not really too bad, just an old coot whose sporting injuries are catching up with him. I played footy until my mid 30's and that wasn't a smart move.

Heard the same Buddy.

I got a similar looking injury at work once Boo, it healed up a lot quicker than I thought it would considering the mangled looking mess it looked.
Do you have a number one at the top of your list of culprits yet?

Compared to nick and others I’ve gotten off lightly. Urchin needles through the right ear and cheek from kissing the rocks at brown water, , 15 stitches somewhere in the top of my head from the break wall at Nambucca heads.Shattered L3,4,5 with arthritis set in, disks naturally fused to pelvis bone( not sure what it is called ) with permanent damage to my nerves in left leg. The original back injury occurred out at castles in vic. I won’t recover from this as a stand up surfer though I have now turned my attention to belly boards, so far I’ve been out of the water nearly three years all up with the re occurring back injury. Numourous deep lacerations in my heels from finso er the years, though I think this is familiar with all.
no, Im not a surfer, Im just a garbage man".

Stonefish or scorpion fish. Won't ever really know, not enough clinical evidence.
I suspect stonefish given the tissue damage, but scorpion fish is more likely given how it occurred. Pretty similar toxins anyway.
Not a cone snail because the wound was smooth from a spine not ragged from a harpoon.

I asked for the sample of tissue so my wife could test it but apparently that breaks about 11 biohazard laws.

Yeah I'm actually in for finger extension surgery, the sting story is a ruse.

Boo doesn’t have any articulation creases in his fingers. It’s like his hands are made from chipolatas

To tell the truth eggs are one thing I avoid buying when I’m grocery shopping. So you may say I’m an intermittent egg buyer who usually lets someone else buy them.

The lines they draw to make sure that they operate on the right hand.

You clowns do realise that the operation was because of the swelling, right?

Yeah, cause god knows it isn't very obvious which is the problem finger.
Didn't make sense as a cut line.
If it was, your finger will be fcuked for a while.
