Yeah, no need to stay out of the water once it's stitched.

I had a stitched wound get infected when I surfed on it. It wasn’t a massive issue - just had to squeeze the pus out - but yeah, infected

Biggest problem I encountered with a stitched fin cut was going in the water the day after the stitches came out.
It just opened up again.
But it was a high flex point on my instep.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Yeah fuck that. I’m not surfing with it like this. I’ll wait it out until next weekend . Hospital said it’d be ok after a few days for light water contact to clean it of whatever, but not prolonged soaking in water and definitely no surfing yet.

I don’t think I’ve ever surfed with stitches still in.
I heard a bloke with a cut got sepsis surfing in Lennox recently.

I've surfed with stitches in plenty of times.

Wrap it up.

When you come in, give it a nice clean with dilute tea-tree and cover with Manuka honey.

Depends how good the surf is.

Couldn't do it with my MTB injury because it was just a big, open chunk out. (I still did it a bit).

I really hate missing out on good waves though.
