Other animals make their livings by living, but people work like crazy, thinking that they have to in order to stay alive. The bigger the job, the greater the challenge, the more wonderful they think it is. It would be good to give up that way of thinking and live an easy, comfortable life with plenty of free time. I think that the way animals live in the tropics, stepping outside in the morning and evening to see if there is something to eat, and taking a long nap in the afternoon, must be a wonderful life. For human beings, a life of such simplicity would be possible if one worked to produce directly his daily necessities. In such a life, work is not work as people generally think of it, but simply doing what needs to be done.”

I had no idea this site ever had ideas above it's station.

I always saw it as the derelict pub in an unfashionable suburb where a working man could be himself or herself, or itself without fear of censure.

I'm pretty much exclusively on my phone now, rarely have reason to fire up the boilers of my pc.
Is there a way to get to the front page from here? I don't see anything to click to get me there.

It got so bad here, he and his band of unholy brothers set up their own site and cut looser. Nobody getting along with any of them at the time on Realsurf. There you go Hatches ... a man could write a book about this place and its connections. You just a new boy, and a loud boy.
Always enjoyed your yarns about the underbelly of the peninsula history Pete
And owe you for a shot of the joey you posted mid week in the 90's raw and wild breaking wide on a ecl swell
Took the next morning off work. Dodged north AV car park, and had it with just one other bloke doing a fair impression of an indo left. He snapped his board and I surfed alone the next 2 hours
That arvo mark warren and jack McCoy were in the la car park ranting about how it was the best Joey they had seen at lunch that day
Grinned to me self and skulked away
