I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Guy on the bottom left of the "Outside Corner" shot is in for a world of hurt.

This guy in the helmet was about 10 years old and out there charging. He just came up to the cliff to see who had footage of him.

Was at Ulus last Sunday half hour before dusk watching. Got even a bit bigger than pics above and was sheet glass. Last two guys out came in after getting smashed by a monster set. Creased my 6'5" Simon two days before after two weeks of pretty bloody insane surf.

Those waves look pretty soft compared to the Maldives

Beautiful cranky. Is surf of this size beyond your pay grade?

You know those little clicker things they use to count the passengers in a plane. I need to carry one of those with me in the water and give it a click when I hear an Ozzie accent. Steve's journalistically unusual standards for accuracy require it.

Although "novelty" was an indulgence, I reckon Ozzies are about 10-20% of the guys in the water on the Bukit

Steve, I think everyone gets that you don't believe Cranked about the amount of Aussies on the Bukit. Given Cranked seems to spend more than half the year there, I think his finger is on the pulse.
Perhaps the Aussies you are chasing spend their time in Kuta.

Shearers just taking the piss.

I think it just reflects the worldwide make-up of surfers by country of origin plus some adjustment for ease of access.

My impression of percentages in Bali:

1982 - oz 60, usa 20, south african 10, rest of world 10
2016 - euro 50, brazillian 25, oz 15, usa 10
