Brokelads sponsoring WSL

Post by pinhead » Fri Apr 01, 2016 6:26 pm

Obviously sponsors ads are an annoyance that everyone ignores - but I couldn't help but notice the Brokelads gambling ads. I have zero connection to the Aussie gambling culture. Occasionally I'll venture into one of those sports bars, where there seem to be a huge variety of ways to throw away money on offer (I'm always surprised by the fact that the beer gutted mouth breathers in those places can figure out the elaborate rules of the various games)

Anyway it was my assumption that other surfers would also have zero interest in gambling maybe I'm mistaken?

I wouldn't bet on it.

Slobs skulling schooners in seedy bars and surfing.

Hand in glove. Said no one ever.

I saw something really weird in a sportsbar recently. Virtual greyhound racing. They have this game in which CGI greyhounds race around a CGI track and people can bet on the winner. I was thinking why greyhounds? if its all CGI you could have anything - rhino's or cheetahs or middle-aged men in nappies on all fours galloping around the track.
