Mick Fanning in semi-retirement?

Post by chrisb » Thu Feb 25, 2016 10:56 am

Apparently he has announced today that he will only compete in selective events in 2016. Looks like no more world titles for Mick but after at least 3 critical life-changing events in 2015 some things are more important than trophies.

Maybe if he wins Snapper and Bells, he'll say "screw that idea" and keep going.
Hope some of the other boys step up to the plate. Don't want a lengthy drought of titles.

He's got one more brother, Ed, who makes the Mad Hueys look like Rhodes scholars.

Hells yeah, there as some real nasty shit on facebook about that guy going around a year or so ago.

As for Mick, blokes taking some time off from the tour, he's been on it for years. Whats the big deal.
