I don't know what's more retarded. The surfing or the guy on the ski?

Good clip of Fanno at the Surf Ranch on a skimboard*. He's got some talent this bloke.

I think Nicks board looks a bit under volumed for him in that video... not much flow through his turns.

trust me. there's nothing more satisfying than wanking out a load into the dry dust while the surrounding forest and wildlife burn to the ground around you.

I'm not dead yet by the way. Must have dodged a bullet. Feel bad for Pierre Agnes, that guy was good value.

Can you unpack that a bit, if it isn't too soon?
Every comment I've read talks about what a fcuking good guy he was. Nothing disparaging, just how much he helped and mentored people.
A little unusual for a CEO of a large corp.

Pierre only took on the CEO role after a couple of other guys had made mincemeat of it. It was a real hospital pass. He took it because he felt it was the right thing to do, he'd had a great life with Quik and was part of the undeniable family atmosphere that helped the company grow in its earlier days. He was a hard headed person and not everyone got along with him, but he was totally honourable and looked after everyone on his watch. Really loved to surf and fish.

Nick you answered the most common questions, but what was the best question you've been asked about the surf ranch?

Roughly 5 minutes between waves does my head in. That kills almost all commercial applications.

The analogy of visiting a hooker seem rather apt.

It's totally not. Strangely enough, women are human beings, but waves are not.
