That wave will be the most played clip from the contest

At the start of their heat, Owen and Nat did let two of the better sets go through unridden while they were off in the channel competing for the inside position.

Is it just a coincidence that Kelly's management is part of ZoSea's management?

And isn't GoPro one of the naming rights sponsors of the WSL?

Why yes it is.

So there's that conspiracy theory shot to bits.

So you're saying that Kelly's managers got him to throw the heat so Mick would have a better chance at stopping another Brazilian World Champ?

The veil is lifted.

Nice photo after today's heat. A lot of history there, not all of it amicable, but personal growth and experience and making peace and yadda yadda yadda

The Heritage heat was great. Legends!
But more than age, their handicap was the extra 10 to 15 kgs of fat. You could see they were continually fighting it. If they could trim that off they would be surfing so much better. Easier said than done, of course. You can handle fat better when you are young. Artie Beetson aside, even in footy, they say the older you are the leaner you need to be.

But the metabolism changes when you get older, you young whippersnappers.

Yep, the very fat surfer could stand in barrels at his local. I don't reckon he would have been much good ripping multiple turns at Lowers.

Shame MR wasn't there, I saw some footage of him at Lakey Peak recently, looked very good he did, like he was a man many years younger.

Is there a reliable Trestles forecast for the next few days?
Are they going to get any waves or will it be Snapper - The Sequel?
