Do boards like that turn? They look like they would be stiff but also out of control, if you get my drift.

'Tri-fin fish' is a term I would kill a newborn to avoid hearing repeated ever again

That tail would sling shot you down the wave.

I agree and even thought twice about writing that up as a description. But if you can figure out a more appropriate and succinct description for a board like that then let it roll.

Looks like it'd fly down the line. Not so sure how it'd handle punchy shifty peaky type conditions

A board with that type of planshape is probably better off just as a twin. The thruster kinda seems counter intuitive.

As far as I can see "fish" is now used for a board that has the wide point forward, plus a swallow tail, once that's done anything goes. In my experience its not so much the width of the tail but the tail rocker that affects turning ability.

It sold pretty quick. Cheap one board quiver for a 100kg late fifties bloke that just wants to cruise but doesn't want to buy a longboard.

Yeah it's not something I'd go near personally. The remotely closest I've been to it was probably the older generation Webber afterburner. But they were 90% a hi-perf design.

How's this thing for gnarlatore. Circa '99 Murray Bourton Pipedream 6'8 reef swallow. Belongs to a mate up here. It's been sitting in his garage untouched for over a decade, now he's married with three kids. Criminal board wastage.

Here's one for all the McCoy tragics out there ;). You'll wanna act quick on this or it'll be gone real soon.

Late nineties (sleeker) looking McCoy 6'10 in vgc for only $200. Sydney

http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/cammeray ... 1098985725

It's some backpacker looking desperado hocking his mates board off so he can pay rent.

So it seems he's under some time pressure - so you could likely call him up, get in his ear and tell him the board is old and only worth $100 and nobody's gonna pay $200, but you're happy to help him out and buy it for $130, but only if he takes it right away otherwise the deal's off.

"Selling my board to pay the rent". Here's a thought - How about you stop living in such a pretentious suburb and move somewhere cheaper you poseur?
