There's a 5"10 blackbox for $350 in pretty good nick, but it's up in Coolum. Some chick selling it.

You could always lure here down to Lennox to deliver it, on the promise of a guided tour, surfing uncrowded prime beach breaks. Let her stay in the granny flat or spare bedroom for the night.

$525 without fins. New one without fins would be pretty much the same price. Almost $200 for those Rasta keels. Kind of odd dims. 20.5 wide for a fish ? but then 3" thick.

It's not the first "near new" torus twin for sale locally.

Triple bull warehouse. JS, dhd, pyzel, Channel Islands boards going new for 600-650. Had a quick look, nothing I need at moment. There was a 5'10 fishcuit there with future fin boxs. A few biscuits. Some longer higher volume shortboards. Get in there and check it out if you're into the name brands.
Personally I'll save my cash and buy local.
You could go next door and grab a brand new force 9 for the same price that is superior in build quality and hasnt been sitting on the racks for 12 months!

Presumably any board that's been in the racks for a year would have properly cured so apart from bumping around when people look at them that would ba a good thing strength wise. No?

Board curing is exponetially decreasing so past a few weeks the difference would be minimal.

I thought about a month was good.
Apparently if you leave them for about five years they develop a more mature flavour.
Of course some boards age better than others. They should have a use by date.

Why thank you hatchie. If I didn't have that demographic sown up Id grab it. Reminds me of the first minimal I bought. It was a Pipedream 7'6". Brett Munroe shape from memory.

It looks like it's either been left out in the sun or in the back of a hot car. Check the risen stringer and general yellowing / aging.

This, from a poster on the McCoy Riders facebook page, about the merits of the Zap:

"Dedicate to it and give it two years and you'll be surfing better than Kelly Slater ever has. And I'm not even joking. Dedicate to it and give it time. Don't switch around"
“I don’t necessarily agree with everything I say ”— Marshall McLuhan
